James Andrew Rapp

April 18, 1945 — February 19, 2016

James Andrew Rapp, age 70 of Okeana, OH passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Mercy West Hospital. Born April 18, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of Lester & Martha (Gering) Rapp.

James, a graduate of Elder High School was employed by Cincinnati Inc. as a supervisor. He married Martha Hill on October 17, 1989 in Gatlinburg, TN.

James is survived by his wife Martha Rapp; his children Kim (Scott) Stidham of Harrison, OH, Susie (Nick) Shukas of Cincinnati, OH & Mark (Debbie) McAdams of Walton, Ky; grandchildren Tarah (Andy) Lawrence, Shelby Stidham, Elizabeth McAdams, Kyle Walz & Logan Walz. He will also be missed by his brother Ed (Barb) Rapp of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Capatola "Cappy" Rapp, son William McAdams Jr. and his sister Martha Mehring.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 10am until time of services at 12:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Father Terry Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow services at Spring Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lymphoma Society c/o the funeral home.
