James "Ben" Moore

James "Ben" Moore, age 88 passed away at home Wednesday, February 21, 2018.  Born November 28, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Millard Moore and Sarah (McQueen) Moore.

James married Evelyn Bennett August 4, 1951 in West Harrison, Indiana.  James served his country in the US Army and worked as a caulker with Brick layers union local #18 for many years.

James is survived by his wife of 66 years Evelyn Moore of West Harrison, Indiana.  Father of Terry (Nancy) Moore, J. Timothy (Melanie) Moore and Tracy (Angie) Moore all of West Harrison, Indiana.  Papa of Mark (Danielle) Moore, Kelley Pollock, Matt Moore, Joe Moore, Kristin (Alex) Berger, Jodi Moore and Jenni Moore.  Great papa of Logan, Elijah, Dylan, Lacie and Skylah.  Brother of Paul (Jane) Moore, Clark (Rosie) Moore, Shanks (Cherese) Moore, Rose Hamon, Pat Geis, Mag (Elmer) Kegley, Martha (Audie) Bowles and Julie Shoemaker all of West Harrison, Indiana.

James is preceded in death by his parents Millard and Sarah Moore, Son Mark Todd Moore, grandson James Moore, Brothers Leroy, Ray and Ed Moore and sister Blanche Lanham.  Brother in law of the late Robert Hamon, Kenny Geis and George Shoemaker.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 24 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. all at Chappelow Ridge Pentecostal Church 4710 Chappelow Ridge Road West Harrison, Indiana 47060.  Burial will follow at Gibson cemetery in Bright, Indiana.  Memorials may be directed to the Chappelow Ridge Pentecostal Church c/o Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.
