James Edward McCracken, age 81, of Harrison, Ohio passed away at his home Friday, August 3, 2018. Born July 12, 1937 in Franklin County, Indiana the son of Ora McCracken and Chloe (Seal) McCracken.

James served his country in the United States Navy. Married Anna Donawerth December 28, 1963 in Brookville, Indiana and worked as a electrician with the Cincinnati local #212.

Survived by his wife Anna McCracken of Harrison, Ohio. Father of Scott (Johnna) McCracken of West Harrison, Indiana and Keith McCracken of Hooven, Ohio. Grandfather of Alaina (Jonathan) Kaiser and Chloe McCracken. Great grandfather of Isabelle Kaiser. Brother of Zelma Bennett.

Preceded in death by his parents Ora and Chloe McCracken, sister Ethel Allen and brothers Clyde McCracken and Bill McCracken.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Miamitown Cemetery Miamitown, Ohio with military honors provided by the Harrison funeral detail.
