James "Jim" Marone

James M. “Jim” Marone, age 82, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born November 23, 1941, in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of Dominic and Marjorie (Streeter) Marone.

Married Cheryl Marsh on June 28, 1963.  Jim served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

Survived by his loving wife Cheryl Marone.  Father of Wendy (Bill) Rossman, and Jim (Karla) Marone.  Grandfather of five, Jessica, Michael, Alexandria, Cydney and Melody. Great-grandfather of seven: Ian, Ethan, Elisabeth, Mila, Rowan, Emily and Cru. Brother of Christine (Denny) Nowiski and Gordon Marsh. Uncle to Odin, Mariah and Caitlin.

Preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Marjorie Marone, and his brother Greg Marone.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jerral Baylis officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy and Harrison Funeral Detail.  A burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
