James W. Hamil

James W. Hamil, age 85, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio on Sunday, December 4, 2022.  He was born to Warren and Lillian (Johnson) Hamil in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was married to Judith (Slayback) Stuard on January 6, 2013 in Moores Hill, Indiana.  He graduated from high school and became a glazer for Mel Mar Glass.

James is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Judith Stuard, his children Virginia Long and James T. Hamil, and his siblings Rodger Hamil, Judith A. Thielman, and Wanda Hamil.

Preceded in death were his parents Warren Hamil and Lillian (Johnson) Avery, daughter Nancy Hamil, and two brothers Charles T. Hamil and David Hamil.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  A burial will follow funeral services at the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
