James W. Bond, age 77, of Harrison, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Born August 24, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Walter Patterson Bond and Mildred (Tillett) Bond.
James worked as a Commercial Roofer with the Roofers local 42 in Cincinnati for many years. James was a avid car guy, he built and transformed many cars over the years even winning multiple awards in the mild custom category at Cincinnati's Cavalcade of Customs.
James is survived by his children Greg (Brenda) Bond of Cleves, Ohio, Jeff (Tracy) Bond of Harrison, Ohio, Nina (Danny) Froman of New Richmond, Ohio and Tina (Randy) Thompson of Metamora, Indiana. Grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of two. Brother of Marci Kirchgessner of Cincinnati, Ohio and Debbie (Roger) Conners of Cleves, Ohio.
Preceded in death by his wife Neda (McCoy) Bond, parents Walter Patterson and Mildred Bond and son Walter Bond.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21 from 11:00 A.M. until time of Funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crissman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio. Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
