James A. Lewis

James A. Lewis, age 74 years of Cleves, OH passed away Monday, October 16, 2006 at his home. Born September 8, 1932 in Kentucky he was the son of the late Daniel & Katherine (Hall) Lewis. He married Brenda Wert on May 17, 1990 in Kentucky and was a self-employed roofer. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife Brenda Lewis, children Mary (Kenny) McConnell of W. Harrison, IN; Lena (Phillip) Cooper of Harrison, OH; Terry Wert of Cleves, OH; Candace (Johnny) Black of Harrison, OH; Patricia Wert of Cleves, OH; Darlene Mullins of Cincinnati, OH; Kenny Lewis of Cincinnati, OH; Becky Lewis of Cincinnati, OH & Lisa Lewis of Cincinnati, OH; siblings Christopher, Daniel, Roy, Mona, Betty, Alice, Willie & Margaret & several grandchildren & great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his children Tony Lewis & Randy Lewis. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 4-7 P.M. followed by services at 7:00 P.M. all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Winston Shelton officiating. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Cincinnati. Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
