Jackson E Ballard

Jackson E. Ballard age 80 passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at VITAS Hospice at The Drake Center Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born October 30, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Benjamin Ballard and Pearl (Honeycutt) Ballard.

Jackson graduated from Taylor High School, worked for Hamilton Foundry in Harrison, Ohio as a molder and served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS John Paul Jones.

Jackson is survived by his children Keith Ballard of Harrison, Ohio, Kay (Clarence) Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio, Angela Wiederhold of Cincinnati, Ohio and Anna (Scott) Nottingham of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.  Grandfather of Jennifer, CJ, Jodi, Jamie, Benjamin, Sarah, Jessica, Katelyn, Kyle, Christina, Joseph and Keith Jr.  Great Grandfather of Samantha, TJ, Harlow and Christian.  Brother of Dolores Denardis, Myrtle Weiskittel, Bob and Wilbur Ballard. Jack is also survived by his girlfriend of 11 years Sue Whitaker.

Jackson is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Pearl Ballard and siblings Herbie, Don, Frank Ballard, Bertha Edwards, Dorothy Smith, Betty Bryant, Eva Mae Doerflein and Blanche Copeland.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 10:00 AM all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Brian Harrison officiating.  Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana with military honors provided by the Harrison Honor Guard.
