Isaac Turner

Isaac Turner age 84 of West Harrison, IN. Died Friday May 28,2010 at his home. Born June 1,1925 in Hazard, Kentucky he was the son of the late Felix and Matilda (Pennington) Turner. Mr. Turner retired from G.M. in Norwood after 27 years. Before working for G.M. he was in the U.S. Army shortly after WWII. On June 19,1941 he married the former Ella Sizemore in Newport KY. Mr. Turner had many hobbies, including golf, hunting and fishing for outdoor fun and bowling, cards and bingo indoors. He also loved to do wood working. Most of all he was a dedicated Christian belonging to the Church of Christ at St. Leon, IN. and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and good friend to many and wil be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Ella of 69 years, children; Eugene (Debbie) Turner of West Harrison, Donald (Linda) Turner of Okeana, Lonnie (Vivian) Turner of Bethal, Ohio, Wayne (Karen) Turner of Okeana, Greg Turner of West Harrison, Rosezetta (Floyd) Brown of Bright and Lana Turner of West Harrison; also 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation is Monday, May 31, 2010 from 5-8 pm and Funeral Services Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 10 am all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison,Ohio. Burial will follow services at the New Haven Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorials may be given to Life Time.
