Hope S. Kober

Hope S. Kober, age 79 years of Harrison, OH passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006 in Harrison, OH. Born August 13, 1927 in Harrison, OH she was the daughter of the late Clint & Kathryn (Weigold) Grubbs. She married James Kober in Covington, KY in May 1959. She was a homemaker and Harrison Village Clerk. Mrs. Kober was a member of St. John UCC in Harrison, OH; 57 year member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Church Choir Director for many years. She is survived by her husband James Kober, children James Kober, Jr. of Harrison, OH; April (Rick) Cook of Harrison, OH and Peggy (Scott) Berryman of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Steven Berryman and Jason Jenkins and sister Martha (John) Loos. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2006 from 10AM until time of service at 12:00 noon all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc. &/or St. John UCC.
