Homer Martin

Homer Martin, age 87 of Gentry, AR formerly of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Gentry, AR. Born December 12, 1923 in Clay Co., KY he was the son of the late Willie & Susan (Gibson) Martin. He worked for Campbell Hausfeld. On June 27, 1947 he married Edna Clark and was a member of the Assembly of God in Harrison, OH. Mr. Martin is survived by his children Diana (Dan) Price of Gentry, AR, Jerry Wayne Martin of W. Harrison, IN, Larry Martin of Gentry, AR & Christian Martin of Harrison, OH. He will also be missed by his 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie & Susan Martin and wife Edna Martin. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Dr. John R. Hembree officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to the Assembly of God Christian School c/o the funeral home.
