HJ "Shanks" Moore age 80 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born September 25, 1938 in Dearborn County, Indiana the son of Millard and Sarah (McQueen) Moore.

Shanks was owner and operator of State & Dair Auto Care for many years. Married Cherese Donaldson September 3, 1987 in Sevierville, Tennessee. Served his country in the US Army.

Shanks is survived by his wife Cherese Moore of West Harrison, Indiana. Brother of Rose Hamon, Pat Geis, Mag (Elmer) Kegley, Martha (Audie) Bowles, Julie Shoemaker, Paul (Jane) Moore and Clark (Rosie) Moore all of West Harrison, Indiana. Brother in law of Evelyn Moore.

Preceded in death by his parents Millard and Sarah Moore, siblings Blanche Lanham, Leroy, James "Ben", Ed and Ray Moore.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. all at Chappelow Ridge Pentecostal Church 4740 Chappelow Ridge Road West Harrison, Indiana 47060 with Pastor Elmer Kegley officiating.
