Herman J. Carr

Born June 7, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Herman & Bessie (Montgomery) Carr. On Oct. 9, 1948 he married Betty Madden in Lawrenceburg, IN and she survives. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Bright, IN and worked for several years as a mechanic at Hill Top Concrete. Herman is a member of the Teamsters Local 100. Herman is survived by his wife Betty Carr, children Bonnie (Stephen) Hass of Bright, IN, Herman Chad (Janie) Carr of Drewersburg, IN, Brenda (Curtis) Upchurch of Canaan, IN and Luther Brad (Kim) Carr of Sunman, IN. He will also be missed by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Zella (Larry) Hitesman of Harrison, OH and brothers Robert (Ida) Carr of Bright, IN, Danny (Lois) Carr of Bridgetown, OH and Joseph Star (Bonnie) Carr of Sunman, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Carol Baum and sisters Della Smith & Stella Carr. Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2011 from 10am until time of services at 12:00 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH. Memorials are suggested to Parkinson Foundation c/o the funeral home.
