Herbert N. Stokes

Herbert N. Stokes, age 77 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at Brookville Health Care Center in Brookville, IN. Born November 15, 1930 in W. Harrison, he was the son of the late Edward & Margaret (Bourquein) Stokes. He was a farmer on his brother-in-laws farm. Mr. Stokes is survived by his sister Bessie Phillips of Versailles, IN. He will also be missed by his nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Raliegh, Herman & John Stokes & sisters Florence Kinnett & Ida Jennette Heinzelman. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 5-8PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Winston Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Drewersburg Cemetery.
