Herbert Lee Howard

Herbert Lee Howard, age 92 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Harrison Trails in Harrison, Ohio.  Born October 20, 1929 in Harrison, Ohio the son of Herbert Clay and Adda Mae (Howell) Howard.

Herbert worked for AT&T as an Engineer for over 35 years and volunteered for over 19 years at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati.  Married Dottie Weninger March 16, 1985 at St John United Church of Christ in Harrison, Ohio and served his country honorably in the United States Army Air Corp.

Herbert is survived by his loving wife Dottie Howard.  Father of Linda (Tim) Moore and Keith (Lori) Howard and stepdaughter Lois Gaines.  Grandfather of three and great grandfather of six.  Dear brother of Bonita Woodrum.

Preceded in death by his parents Herbert Clay and Adda Mae Howard and wife Lorene Howard.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. with Tim Moore officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio with military honors provided by the United States Army and Harrison Funeral Detail.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Harrison Historical Society for Preservation and Restoration c/o the funeral home.
