Henry Lee Ball

Henry Lee Ball, age 76 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006 at his home in W. Harrison. Born June 14, 1929 in Clay Co., KY he was the son of William Goebel & Victoria (Napier) Ball. He was a US Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict; member of St. Leon American Legion; Brookville F&AM Harmony Lodge #11 and member and former Trustee of Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN. He married Martha Moyers on January 14, 1957 in Fairborn, OH. Mr. Ball retired from Stevens Graphics in Hamilton, OH as a machinist. Mr. Ball is survived by his wife Martha Ball; children Garry Lee (Barbara) Ball of Jackson Co., KY; Kimberly (John) Stewart of W. Harrison, IN and Ronald (Linda) Ball of W. Harrison, IN; Grandchildren Ronald Lee Ball, Jacob John Henry Stewart and Benjamin Earl Ball; sister Mary E. Sandlin of Spencer, IN; brothers Estill Ball of W. Harrison, IN and Virgil Ball of Brookville, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Ethel Sawyers & Hazel Holcomb and brother Oakley Ball. Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 4-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Masonic Services at 8pm. Services will be Monday, March 13, 2006 at 11:00am at Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN with Rev. Shawn Crisman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN. Memorials are suggested to Smyrna Baptist Church or Drewersburg Fire Dept.
