Henry A. Dixon

Henry A. Dixon, age 84 years of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, June 5, 2005 at his home. Born January 25, 1921 in Lucasville, OH he was the son of Henry Russell Dixon and Martha (Fultz) Fitch. He married Mae Whisner on July 18, 1945. He was a US Navy WWII veteran and member of the DAV. Mr. Dixon is survived by his children Terri (Jack) Gaitskill of Cincinnati, OH; Anita (Leigh) Herington of Ravenna, OH; William Dixon of Harrison, OH and Russell Dixon of Columbus, IN; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mae Dixon. Visitation will be Wed. June 8, 2005 from 6-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Dr. Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial with military graveside rites by the Middletown American Legion will be in Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, OH. Memorials may be directed to the DAV c/o the funeral home.
