Helen W. Thompson

Helen W. Thompson (nee Taggart), 89 of Harrison, OH passed away on January 13, 2017.  She is the beloved wife of the late Justin Thompson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna (Ryan) Taggart and her siblings, Joseph Kelly, Florence Meyers, Robert Taggart, Margaret Robertson, Anna Dees, Leo Taggart, Cecilia Marshall, Kathryn Mills, William Taggart, Rita Bryant and Betty Mayo.  She leaves behind her daughters, Debbie (Rick) Rothweiler and Sharon (Bob) Speigle, and grandchildren, Cheri (Curt) Borntrager, Crystal (Chris) Ferry, Shauna (John) Owens, Scott (Jamie) Speigle, Ashley and Meghann Speigle along with 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen was a member and administrative assistant of the O.K.I. Chapter, American Ex-Prisoners of War (POW) and past-president of the F.O. P. Ladies Auxiliary Lodge 42.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 10am-12noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm, at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH.  Father Jeff Kemper officiating.  Burial following in Arlington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Reach Out Pregnancy Center, 10150 Harrison, Ave., Harrison, OH 45030 or the St. John Building Fund, 509 Harrison Ave., Harrison, OH 45030.  Memorials may also be brought or mailed to the funeral home.
