Helen B. Specht

Helen B. Specht, age 80 years of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 in Hamilton, OH.

Born April 24, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Fred & Lydia (Boeller) Hoerst. Helen graduated from Mother of Mercy High School and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH. She married James E. Specht on May 31, 1954 in Cheviot, OH.

Mrs. Specht is survived by her children Patricia Ann (Bill) Oglesby of Peru, IN, Nancy (Eddie) Maggard of Hamilton, OH & Tina (Greg) Ketterer of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Jennifer Maggard, Nicole (Terry) Moore, Cheryl (Jeremy) Wagner, Ryan Ketterer, Michael McNally, Andrew Ketterer, and Nicholas Ketterer, Great Grandchildren Logan & Jacksonand siblings Mary Siegert & Betty Jaspers. In addition to her parents, Fred & Lydia Hoerst, she was predceded in death by her husband, James E. Specht and siblings William Hoerst & Eleanor Roell. Visitation will be Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 3-5pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffrey M. Kemper officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
