Hazel Marie Souders

Hazel Marie Souders, age 86 of Logan, IN passed away March 31, 2013 at Drake Hospital in Cincinnati. Born on October 16, 1926 in Harrison, OH the daughter of the late Burt and Laura "Alma" Martin. Hazel married Ernest L. Souders on June 20, 1953 in Harrison, OH. Ernest died on April 1, 1967. She was a member of the First Christian Church and retired from the U.S. Shoe Company. Hazel is survived by her son Mike Souders and his wife, Gayle of Guilford, IN, her grandchildren Andrea Souders (Jamie Beard) of Bright, IN, and Dylan & Jacob Souders of Guilford, along with her great grandchildren Heidi and Holly Beard. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Alma Louise Martin and brother Chester Martin. Visitation from 10am-12noon on Thursday, April 4, 2013 immediately followed by the funeral service at 12:00pm, all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating with burial to follow in the Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
