Harry "Papa" Colyer, Jr.

Harry "Papa" Colyer Jr., age 72 of Harrison, OH passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Born November 11, 1940 in Pulaski County, KY he was the son of Harry & Emma Colyer. Harry married Brenda Frith on October 7, 1960 in Covington, KY. In addition to his wife Brenda Colyer, he is survived by his son Harry Colyer III of Harrison and his siblings Ruby Gallenstein of North College Hill, OH, Joe Colyer of Harrison, OH & Orville (Roselyn) Colyer of Abilene, TX. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Gene, Felix, Hobert, Jerry, Red, Maxine, Betty, Pauline, Dewey & Charles Colyer. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2013 from 6-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
