Harry E. Kober

Harry E. "Butch" Kober, age 72 years of Harrison, OH passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH. Born January 24, 1937 in Harrison he was the son of the late Henry & Grace (Grubbs) Kober. Mr. Kober was a machinist for Porter Precision and a US Army Veteran. He married Alberta Black on October 31, 1961 in Lawrenceburg, IN. He is a member of the American Legion Post 199 in Harrison, OH. Butch is survived by his wife Alberta Kober, sons James (Cindy) VanWinkle of Ross, OH, Mark (Melanie) VanWinkle of Cincinnati, OH & Barry (Betty) Kober of Harriman, TN. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Yvette, Lisa Ann & Jacob VanWinkle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Beesley and grandson Jimmy VanWinkle. Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 10am until time of services at 12 noon all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Winston Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Miamitown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
