Grace Marie Sumner

Grace Marie Sumner, age 86 of Oneida, TN passed away on Thursday December 24, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Scott County. Born on August 1, 1923 in Stearns, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late John Henry Kidd and the late Ella Ester Kidd. She was a Member of the Macedonia Christian Center, Oneida. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Leslie S. Sumner. One Son: Leslie Scott Sumner, Jr. Three Brothers: Jessie Lee Kidd, Linden Kidd, and Hollis Kidd. Two Brothers-In-Law: Robert Terry and Theron Phillips. One Sister-In-Law: Imogene Kidd. Father and Mother-In-Law: Dave and Eulla Jane Sumner. She is survived by One Brother: James Archie Kidd and wife Fannie of Kentucky. Three Sisters: Pauline Duff and Husband Shelby, Louise Phillips, and Jewell Terry all of Oneida. Five Sisters-In-Law: Elizabeth Ann Kidd of Oneida, Gladys Mae Ruth of Stearns, Kentucky, Lela Jett and Husband Ted, Minnie Garland of Stearns, Kentucky, and Elsie Schonegge of Indiana. Two Brothers-In-Law: Dexter Sumner and wife Jeannie of Seattle, Washington and Lawrence Sumner and wife Unavee of Ohio. Special Friends: Bruce and Kathy Slaven, Elizabeth Ellis, Susan Loesch, Jill Bennett, Kay Breeding, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends. Visitation Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2-3pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with graveside services to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, IN.
