Gordon Justis

Gordon C. Justis “Gordy”, age 60 of Bright, Indiana passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, in Bright, Indiana.  Born on May 17, 1963, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana the son of Earl and Hazel (Garrison) Justis.

Gordy, an East Central High School graduate, worked for Oak Hills School district, loved his dogs, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, camping, and golfing, but he was known as a collector.

Gordy is survived by his wife of 25 years, Darlene (Byrd) Justis.  Father of Dana (Garret) Troxell and Danny (Jessica) Broering.  Grandpa to Cameron, Avereigh, Caleb, Elijah, Aryana, Shelby, Jayla, Abby, Bre, Lena, and Maddie.  Brother of Kenny (Cheryl) Justis.  Also surviving are his best friend Bob and Nicole Oliver, Dave Huebner and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Earl and Hazel Justis, his daughter Kayla Justis and mother in law Bernice Byrd.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Todd Wolf officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
