Gertrude Barnett

Gertrude Barnett, age 80, of Trenton, formally Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born October 31, 1942, in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of Pierce and Rosie (Little) Hensley.

Gertrude married Harold Barnett on April 8, 1967, in Middletown, Ohio.

Survived by her loving husband Harold Barnett.  Beloved mother of Michelle (Del) Wells, Shawn Barnett, and Brian (Debbie) Barnett.  Grandmother of Austin, Max, Starr, Ethan, Janaya, Harley Quin, and Amanda.  Great-grandmother of Christian.  Sister of Adalin (Justin) Hamilton, Earl (Vera) Hensley, and Jay (Kim) Hensley.

Preceded in death by her parents Pierce and Rosie Hensley, siblings Odean Hensley, Imogene Rose, Clara Singleton, and Maureen O’Hair.

A graveside service will be held at Fairmound Cemetery, State Route 503, West Elkton, Ohio 45070, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Matt Morgan officiating.
