George Raymond Grubbs

George Raymond Grubbs, age 75 years of W. Harrison, IN formerly of Osgood, IN passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Harrison, OH. Born February 29, 1936 in Dearborn Co., IN he was the son of the late Emery & Marie (Courter) Grubbs. He retired from National Lead of Ohio and was a US Coast Guard Veteran during Vietnam. George had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting and playing on his computer. Mr. Grubbs is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Cindy and David Strunk and Debbie and Ernest Walston both of Versailles, IN. He will also be missed by his Five grandchildren Trent (Heather) Hunger, Cory Steele, Destiny Dunagan, Breanna Walston and Kylee Walston. Two great grandchildren Alexis Hunger and Aidan Green. Sister Vera Socher of Cleves, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Anna Mae Edmonds. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 12noon until time of services at 2:00pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
