Gayle M. Warders

Gayle Marie Warders, age 92 of Harrison, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born October 2, 1931, in New Trenton, Indiana, the daughter of Andrew John and Edna May (Seeley) Smith.

A loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She put family first and did everything in her life with love.  Liked auctions, antiques, cooking, sewing, gardening, and country music.  Gayle was always singing whether she was rocking a grandchild to sleep or digging in the garden.  She sewed all her life for family and friends, always pleasant, always kind, she made the best homemade rolls, noodles, and fruit cobblers.  She married her husband Harold Eugene Warders on March 15, 1952, in Brookville, Indiana.

Gayle is survived by her four children Marilyn Warders, Mary Warders, Glenn (Chris) Warders, and Bryan (Julie Ventura) Warders.  Grandmother of Mary (Steve) Beltz, Daniel (Betsy) Warders, Gregory (Jen) Warders, and Julie (Justin Withers) Warders.  Great-grandmother of Amelia, Natalie, Jack Warders, Ella, and Evie Beltz.

Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Edna Smith, her beloved husband Harold Warders, and brothers Earle Smith and Paul Smith.

Visitation will be held Thursday December 14, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  A burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, Ohio.
