Gary R. Smith

Gary R. Smith, age 76 of Bright, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born January 31, 1945 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of Hazel (nee Randall) and Morton Smith.

Gary retired from Sun Chemical Corporation of Cincinnati Ohio. Member of the NRA, American Field, and the former Bright Liar’s Club.  Gary loved his family, bird hunting with his friends, his bird dogs, and working on cars.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Sandra Smith (nee Brooks-Fagin).  Father of Gary (Lisa) Smith II, Jamie Smith, Erin (Madisen) Smith, Larry (Francine) Fagin, and Carl Fagin.  Grandfather of Gaige, Morgan, Kaden, Maddox, Kyah, Roman, Zayden, Kingston, and Ireland.  Great grandfather of Myles.  Dear brother of Carletta (George) Cline and Rocky Smith. Also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Morton Smith and son Bryan Fagin.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until time of memorial service at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.

*After services everyone is invited to join the family at the American Legion Post #199 in the club room 10700 Campbell Road Harrison, Ohio 45030.
