Fred "Jack" Stayton

Fred "Jack" Stayton, age 73 of Fairfield, OH passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 3, 1942 in Cincinnati he was the son of Arthur & Mary Kate (Swallows) Stayton. The US Army Veteran worked as an electrician at Westinghaus and then retired from Conn Meats. He married Lois Hall on Oct. 19, 1963 in Harrison, OH. Mr. Stayton is survived by his wife Lois Stayton, sons Robert J. Stayton and David D. (Renee) Stayton; grandchildren Christopher, Steven, Douglas, Ronald, Justin, Ashley, Sydney & Samantha along with great grandchildren Kody, Corey, Summer, Christopher Jr., Liam & Aleah and sisters Lena Rose, Verna St. John and Margaret Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Stayton, mother Mary Kate Stayton-Holt, stepfather Dillard Holt, daughter Theresa Kay Bailey and brother Ernest Stayton. Visitation will be Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1-3pm followed by services at 3:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor Joseph Head officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Cincinnati VA Hospital c/o the funeral home.
