Fred Mcguire

Fred McGuire age 80 of Harrison, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by his family on September 12, 2017.

Born October 28, 1936 in Bighill, Kentucky the son of the late Stanley and Mattie (Clark) McGuire.

Fred married the late Sue Carol (Frazer) McGuire on November 20, 1959 at St John United Church of Christ Harrison, Ohio.  After graduating from Taylor High School, Fred served his country in the US Army.

Survived by his children Christi (Rusty) Wondrely of Harrison, Ohio, Sally (Dan) Kerr of Harrison, Ohio, KC (Bill) Dent of Mariemont, OH and Joel McGuire of Harrison, Ohio.

Grandfather of Nathan Kerr, Chloe Stagaman, Katy Kerr, Andy Kerr, John Stagaman, Heather Wondrely, Elise Stagaman, Kelley McGuire, Kristen McGuire and Charlie McGuire.

Fred is also survived by his sister in law Joan (the late Bill) Frazer of Dent, Ohio, Jenny (the late Gary) Grubbs of Okeana, Ohio and brother in law Moe (Pam) Frazer of Sarasota, Florida.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2017 from 5-7 PM followed by services at 7:00 pm all at Jackman Hensley funeral home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating.  Burial will be in Glen Haven cemetery on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 with military honors.
