Fay Marie Doty

Fay Marie Doty, age 86 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Harrison. Born May 31, 1925 in Harrison, OH she was the daughter of the late Milburn & Nell (Stephens) Keen. Fay was a real estate agent. She married Verle Doty on June 14, 1947 at First Presbyterian Church in Harrison, OH. Fay is survived by her husband of 64 years, Verle Doty. She will be sadly missed by a son Mark and daughter Lou Ann (Don) Strimple, granddaughter Tara (Steve) Hammons, grandson Mark Doty II, two great grandsons Dylan & Logan Hammons whom she dearly loved and enjoyed. She was the aunt of Terry & Barbara Viel and Pam & Butch Staat along with several great nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Keen and sister Henretta Viel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:30am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Interment will be at Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Harrison Fire & EMS c/o the funeral home.
