Evelyn Louise Ziegler (nee Whitney), age 82 years of Mariemont, OH formerly of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004 in Mariemont, OH. Born April 27, 1922 in Elizabethtown, OH the daughter of Kenneth & Carrie (Hayes) Whitney. She was married to Al Ziegler who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ziegler is survived by her children Claudette (Jack) Blozy of W. Hartford, CT; Andy (Peggy) Ziegler of Logan, IN; Zita (Gary) Edwards of Port St. Lucie, FL; Mark Ziegler of Wilmington, NC and Richard (Iris) Ziegler of Encinitas, CA; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister Ginny Anderson of Tennessee; brothers Mose Whitney of Texas and Bob Whitney of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son John Phillip Ziegler; 1 grandson; brother Carl Whitney and sister Ruth Hartwell. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH with Father Edward Shine officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 25th from 9:00 until 10:30 AM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
