Evelyn Ann Behlmer

Evelyn Ann Behlmer, age 89 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Ridgewood Health Campus Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Born December 10, 1928 in Batesville, Indiana the daughter of Frank H. Bergman and Lillian (Holle) Bergman.

Evelyn graduated from Batesville High School in 1947, married Gilbert "Joe" Behlmer October 9, 1948 in Batesville, Indiana.  Member of St John United Church of Christ Harrison, Ohio.  Evelyn was a big influence in the Athletic and Band boosters for North Dearborn and East Central High Schools.

Evelyn is survived by her children Patty (Kenzie) Bentle of Bright, Indiana, Pam (Barry) Fury of Harrison, Ohio and Tim (Candy) Behlmer of Harrison, Ohio.  Grandma of Kendra (Blake) Rainey, Erin (Alex) Darringer, Kenzie A. (Kristina) Bentle and Jason (Brandy) Fury.  Great grandma of Alayna Darringer, Tyler Darringer, Ellis Rainey and Tessa Bentle.  Sister of Frank Bergman Jr., of Batesville, Indiana and Robert (Linda) Bergman of Florida.  Sister in law of Phyllis Bergman of Sunman, Indiana and Martha Bergman of Brookville, Indiana. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lillian Bergman, husband Gilbert "Joe" Behlmer, siblings Elma Wessel, Pete and Earl Bergman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Services at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana.
