Eunice Carota

Eunice Carota, age 91, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her home in Harrison, OH.  Born February 28, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of George & Eunice (Woodall) Black.

She married Joe Carota on May 24, 1946 in Barnsburg, OH.  Eunice worked for the Southwest Local Schools in the cafeteria for many years before retiring.

Eunice is survived by her son Jeff Carota of Harrison, OH; son-in-law Bob Haynes of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren Rob, Tina & Beth and 6 great grandchildren.  She will also be missed by her sisters Rose Cook of Harrison, OH; Jean Young of Harrison, OH & Alberta Kober of Tennessee and her brother Robert Black of Harrison, OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Carota, daughters Nancy Haynes & Natalie “Boo” Bierman and her brothers Harold & Pete Black.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 10am until time of services at 11am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Shawn Crisman officiating.  Burial will follow services in Miamitown Cemetery.
