Eugene J. Widolff

Eugene “Jim” Widolff, age 84 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 24, 1942, in Batesville, Indiana the son of Eugene and Helen (Wiedeman) Widolff.

Jim a 1960 graduate of North Dearborn High School, served his country in the United States Army and a member of North Dearborn American Legion. Married Diane Metz on July 29, 1967, in Cedar Grove, Indiana at Holy Guardian Angels.

Survived by his loving wife Diane Widolff. Father of Annette Brandt, Christopher (Michelle) Widolff, and Robert (Fay) Widolff. Grandfather of Haleigh (Joshua) Meece, Hunter (Hannah) Rudisell, McKenzie (Nick) Walters, and Chase McDaniel. Great grandfather of Maxton, Lilleigh and Taylor Meece. Brother of Jane Widolff, Beth (Bill) Flodder, Hope (Terry) Thackery, and Roman (Burnadette) Widolff.

Preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Helen Widolff and stepfather Robert Carpenter, sister Mary Helen Kmeick and brother Tom Widolff.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
