Ethel M. Cormican, age 94 of Bright, IN passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Lawrenceburg, IN. Born January 27, 1921 in Harrison, OH she was the daughter of Albert & Phoebe (Loos) Zeumer. She married Paul M. Cormican on October 10, 1942 in Lawrenceburg, IN and he preceded her in death. The graduate of William Henry Harrison High School worked for US Shoe and was a member of Bright Christian Church where she also taught Sunday School for over 40 years, Miamitown Seniors and Old Friends & Bright Beginnings. Ethel is survived by her son and his wife Daniel R. & Tonyia Cormican of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren Leah (David) Burkhardt of Indianapolis, IN and Lauren (Eoghan) Reade of Harrison, OH & great grandchildren Liam Reade & Norah Burkhardt. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings Harry "Pete" Zeumer, George Zeumer and Dorothy Zeumer. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5-8pm at Bright Christian Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:30am at Bright Christian Church with Jeff Stone officiating. Burial will follow services at Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bright Christian Church or Whitewater Christian Service Camp c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.
