Estella Bertha Blum

Estella Bertha Blum, age 79 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, December 01, 2010 in Cincinnati. Born June 29, 1931 in Harrison, OH she was the daughter of the late Roy & Estella (Snider) Smith. She graduated from Morgan Township High School, worked for US Shoe and also Bell Telephone Company. Estella married Roy Blum on Jan. 7, 1961 at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison, OH. She was a member of St. John the Baptist, the Ladies Sodality and the Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Estella is survived by her husband Roy Blum, sisters, Lottie Bunyard of Harrison, OH, Barbara Hopkins of Harrison, OH & Lillie (Will, Jr.) Wurtzler of W. Harrison, IN. She will also be missed by numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Everett "Bud" Leroy Smith & Graham Irvin Smith Sr. Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Edward Shine, Rev. Jeffrey M. Kemper & Rev. William J. Dorrmann officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
