Eric Klem, age 64, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home in Cincinnati, OH. He was born on November 5, 1950 in Hamilton, OH and was the son of James & Ruby (Schardine) Klem. Eric graduated from North Dearborn High School in 1969 and was a 3rd generation Union Boilermaker and a partner/owner of Tradeline Fabricating with his father and brothers. He was a member of the Boilermaker Local 105 in Chillocothe, OH and the church trustee at Shiloh United Methodist Church where he was also a member. He married Janet Sefton in Bright, IN on August 16, 1970. He enjoyed all sports, particularly golf in the recent years. Eric was a good family man and a man of God. He will be missed by all who knew him. Eric is survived by his wife Janet Klem, son Brian (Chris) Klem, granddaughters Kari & Emily Klem and his siblings Harweda (Robert) Davis of Bright, IN, Terry (Mary) Huff of Bright, IN, Kurt (Angie) Klem of Aurora, IN and Mark (Berta) Klem of Bright, IN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, dear classmates, friends, and co-workers. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00am at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 5261 Foley Rd., Cincinnati, OH with Rev. Dave Hood & Rev. Jerry Hill officiating. Burial will follow services at Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested to Shiloh United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home.
