Elmer William Rosemeyer

Elmer William Rosemeyer, age 92 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at his home. Born October 19, 1912 in Dearborn County, IN, he was the son of William Elmer & Clara (Woliung) Rosemeyer. Married to Mildred White, he was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sunman, IN, a union carpenter and the founder of Rosemeyer's Plants Inc. in W. Harrison, IN. Mr. Rosemeyer is survived by his sons Ronald (Linda) Rosemeyer and James (Maria) Rosemeyer both of W. Harrison, IN; daughter Aurilla J. Jacobs of Okeana, OH; grandchildren Douglas (Vicki) Rosemeyer, Andrew (Laura) Rosemeyer, Jennifer Rosemeyer, Tony (Sophia) Rosemeyer, Cristina (Bryan) Cobb, Jeanna & Gregory Jacobs; step grandchildren Rick (Brandee) Hedger and Dana (Ryan) King; 7 great grandchildren and brother Robert (Evelyn) Rosemeyer of Sunman, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents William E. & Clara Rosemeyer, wife Mildred Rosemeyer and sister Alma Kissinger. Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2005 from 9am-12noon (Fast Time) followed by services at 12 noon all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Gary Groth officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Harrison Life Squad.
