Ellen Riggs

Ellen Riggs, age 67 of Cincinnati, OH passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her home. The daughter of Virgil & Beulah (Shepherd) Boggs was born March 12, 1946 in Whitesburg, KY. Ellen was married to Edward David Yeary who died in 1970 then married Franklin Paul Riggs who died in 2012. She was a very active member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Ellen was a homemaker and a pastor's wife. Ellen is survived by her children Cindy Hawkins of Cleves, OH, David Yeary (Kris) of Cincinnati, OH, Bruce Yeary of Cincinnati, OH, Franklin P. Riggs II (Annette) of Cincinnati, OH, Rebecca Riggs-Phillips (David) of Coldfield, TN, Sara Bien (Tom) of Cincinnati, OH & Kathy Fiedler (Larry) of Dayton, KY. She will also be missed by 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her brothers James (Irene) Boggs of Kingston, TN. and Curtis (Jan) Boggs of Sparta, KY. In addition to her parents & husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers John Dee & Donnie Boggs. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 starting at 5pm at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, 407 Walnut St. (Elwood Pl.) Cincinnati, OH. Services will be Monday at 10:00am with Pastor Dennis Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials are suggested to the church c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.
