Elizabeth "Betty" Mcelroy

Elizabeth "Betty" McElroy (nee Minges) age 87 years of West Chester, OH formerly Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Chesterwood Village in West Chester, OH. Born October 26, 1919 in Shaker Village, OH she was the daughter of the late George & Lena (White) Minges. Mrs. McElroy was a graduate of WHHHS and retired from P&G as a secretary. She was also a member of the Grace Bible Presbyterian Church and the American Federation. She married Glenn McElroy on July 9, 1943. Mrs. McElroy is survived by her brother George (Joan) Minges of Harrison, OH; several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews & great great nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn McElroy, brother Richard Minges & sisters Mary Radcliffe & Catherine Baltov. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11 AM followed by services at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Pastor Albert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to William Henry Harrison High School Scholarship Fund.
