Elaine Harris

Elaine Harris, age 70 passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her home in West Harrison, IN.   Born March 27, 1946 in Columbus, OH she was the daughter of Everett Eugene & Leslie (Tower) Mosslander.

She worked for Christ Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati for 25 years as the office manager.  On July 30, 1988 she married Foster W. Harris in Harrison, OH.  Elaine was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Harrison.

Elaine loved and was dedicated to her many doctors and offered help for the many patients they took care of.  She loved and was very devoted to her kids and grandkids.  Elaine loved to cook, especially large family meals and also loved to bake cakes & brownies for her co-workers.  She dearly loved her yearly trips with her dear friend Jane Moore.  She explored and visited many European cities as well as nearly every state in the union.

Elaine is survived by her husband Foster Harris, her children Tamela Hinson, Scott Hinson (Christy), Shawn Hinson (Amy) and stepchildren Gary Harris & Christy Harris.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren Cheryl Baird (Tim), Josh Whitacre (Jaclyn), Reade Parrott, Jenna Hinson, step grandchildren Tyler Giffen, Blake Giffen, Mackenzie Harris, Mackayley Campbell, Macy Campbell, Micah Foster & Malena Foster, great grandchildren Jaeden Owens, Sadie Whitacre, Evelynn Macie Baird & Bentley Whitacre and her sister Adele Wojcrechowski.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sue Meyer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 5:00pm -8:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.  Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:30am at the funeral home with Pastor Joshua Long officiating.  Burial will follow services in Glen Haven Cemetery.
