Effie Marie Bennett

Effie Marie Bennett, age 77 passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home in Bright, IN. Effie was born on February 21, 1937 in Beverly, KY and was the daughter of the late Mark & Chloe (Taylor) Belcher. She graduated from Redbird High School in Beverly, KY where she was also a cheerleader. She worked many jobs, including at the King Kwik Convenience Store, Nursing Homes, Cincinnati Inc. cafeteria and her favorite, Janet Lynn Total Image Salon as an instructor. On January 10, 1973 she married William "Bill" Bennett at First Christian Church in Harrison. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband William "Bill" Bennett; children Lynda Fee of Yuma, AZ, Tina Lynn Yothers of Harrison, OH, Lorrie Fee of St. Petersburg, FL and David Fee of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Heather (Gia)Fee, Taryn Barnes, Cory Yothers, Derek Fee, Deven Fee & Dedra Fee; great granddaughter Aubriella Rae Bennett; great grandson A.J. Reinoehl; sister Cordelia Belcher of Corbin, KY and brother Harold (Christine) Belcher of Beverly, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Frances King, Martha Belcher, Lehman Belcher & Fred Belcher. Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2014 from 11am until time of services at 1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Dearborn County Hospice c/o the funeral home.
