Edward D. Mcdaniel

Edward D. McDaniel, age 88 years of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Shawneespring Health Campus, Harrison, OH. Born September 8, 1923 in Clay County, KY he was the son of the late Steve & Emma (Hall) McDaniel. The WWII, Army veteran was a truck driver for Ohio Delivery. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Harrison, OH, American Legion Post 199 & VFW #7570 and Masonic Lodge #, Cleves, OH. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his children Geraldine McDaniel of Cincinnati, OH, Donna (Jerry) Hogan of Mt. Healthy, OH, Mary (Lowell) Coleman of Amelia, OH & Tom (Jeanne) McDaniel of Fort Worth, TX. He will also be missed by his 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and siblings Della Reif of Florida, Lillian Jallick of Harrison, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Griffin) McDaniel, daughter Tina Hohmeister, granddaughter Jessica Hogan and siblings Henry McDaniel & Ester Sparks. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 10am until time of services at 12 noon all at St. John United Church of Christ, Harrison, OH with Rev.
