Edward B Bakes

Edward Bernard Bakes, age 83, of Harrison, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018  Shawneespring of Harrison in Harrison, Ohio.  Born July, 4, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Edward and Agnes (Koob) Bakes.

Edward graduated from Central High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Married Barbara Tobergte on May 4, 1955.  Worked for the city of Cincinnati as a property tax collector for many years as well as Cincinnati Private Police Association.  Member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Harrison, Ohio.

Edward is survived by his loving wife Barbara Bakes.  Father of Julie (James) Price of Hamilton, Ohio, Mike Bakes of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Grady of Harrison, Ohio, Nancy (Bill) Barnes of Colerain Township, Ohio, Andy (Elisa) Bakes of Hidden Valley Lake and Jane (Dave) Sehlhorst of West Harrison, Indiana.  Grandfather of eight and great grandfather of two.  Brother of Betty Jo Griffith and Pat Ragland.

Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Agnes Bakes, brother Charlie Holt.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until time of memorial mass at 11:00 A.M. with Father Edward Shine as Celebrant all at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Harrison, Ohio.
