Dorothy Reid

Dorothy Reid, age 78 years of West Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, June 8, 2006 in Cincinnati, OH. Born August 3, 1927 in Hamilton, OH she was the daughter of the late Samuel Mack & Stella (Hurst) Pennington. She married John Reid on June 28, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, IN and she retired in 1992 from Seagram's. Mrs. Reid is survived by her husband John Reid, children Larry (Paulette) Reid of Dayton, OH; Peggy (Mike) Ravenscraft of Harrison, OH and Doug (Sondra) Reid of W. Harrison, OH; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Marie (Bud) Swales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Ike, Elmer, Herman,, Ralph & Roy Pennington. Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 4-8 P.M. at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 A.M at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Fugate officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN. Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation or American Heart Assoc.
