Dorothy E. Peak

Dorothy E. Peak, age 88 of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Shawnee Springs Health Care Center in Harrison. She was born on August 13, 1926 to John and Goldie (Bayes) Suiter in Chesapeake, Ohio. Dorothy married Dolth K. Peak on November 4, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away on April 2, 1989. Dorothy worked at Campbell Hausfeld until retiring in the 1980's. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star Chapter #427 of Lawrenceburg, IN and attended the Bright Christian Church. Dorothy was a dog lover and enjoyed gardening. She especially loved to spend time and be around her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Dorothy Sue Hayes of Smithville, GA, Cynthia (Gary) Noel of Lawrenceburg, IN, Todd (Kim) Peak of Milan, IN, Dolth Skip' (Debbie) Peak Jr. of Bethel, OH Walter (Gayle) Peak of Crossville, TN and Charles Chuck' Peak of Decatur, GA; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grand children and many great great grandchildren; plus 5 brothers and sisters, Glenna, Nancy, Sam, John and Ruth Ann. Visitation will be 10am-12pm on Thursday, December 18, 2014 with funeral service immediately following at 12:00noon all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH. Pastor David Vaughan officiating. Memorials may be given to Whitewater Crossing Christian Church or American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
