Dorothy "Dot" Jackson, age 90 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007 in W. Harrison, IN. Born July 29, 1917 I Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late William & Christine (Kuehling) Lohman. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Angels in Cincinnati, OH. On Jan. 12, 1940 she married Edward Lloyd Jackson & is a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her children Dorothy Doan of Osgood, IN; William Jackson of Cincinnati, OH; Anna (Steven) Bengert of Laurel, IN; Edward (Barbara) Jackson of Bright, IN & Thomas (Maralee) Jackson of W. Harrison, IN; grandchildren: Christine Holland, Katie Doan, Heather, Jamie, Edward, Karrie & Jessie Jackson, James Schuur, Lisa Johns, Gerry Lynn Gourley & Kim Weitz; great grandchildren: Zachary & Matthew Holland, Nicholas McClain, Ashley Gourley, Noah & Jordan Weitz. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, newphews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Lloyd Jackson, 1 sister & 3 brothers. Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 9am-10 am followed by a Blessing at 10:00 AM by Father Edward Shine at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, OH. Memorials are suggested to St. John the Baptist Church c/o the funeral home.
