Dora M. "Sally" Devore

"Sally" Dora M. Devore, age 85 of West Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 26, 1921 in Georgetown, KY she was the daughter of the late William & Ethel (Drake) Glass. She married Charles Devore Sr. on February 28, 1953 in Carrolton, KY. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN. Mrs. Devore is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Devore Sr., children Charles (Debbie) Devore Jr., Larry (Cathy) Teters, Rita (Henry) Howard, Carolyn Devore & Kevin (Trisha) Devore; 35 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and sister Ruth (William) Elliott) & Faye (George) Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Glenn Teters, Wilma Jester & Charlotte Harris. Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Services will be Monday, January 15, 2007 at 1:30 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Crisman officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Assoc. c/o the funeral home.
