Donald E. Miller, a beloved retired roofer, passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 73 in Brookville, Indiana. Born on August 24, 1952, in Newport, Kentucky, Donald was a man who proudly embraced his American heritage and held deep respect for United States veterans, reflecting his dedication to the principles of service and patriotism.

He is survived by his loving family, including his children: Marlo (Raymond) Hamby, Stella Hunter, Donald (Kayla) Ball, Jason Ball, Daniel (Angie) Ball, and Nathan Ball, and his life partner, Tammy Ball (nee Saylor). Donald was a devoted grandfather and cherished the role he played in the lives of his 30 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was also a brother to Danny Peters, Lester Pete Peters, Velma Purcell, and Eva Loos, who will forever remember the joyful moments they shared together. Donald's military service in the Army, although interrupted by an undesirable discharge, was a testament to his commitment to his Country.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Miller, as well as his parents, Donald Eugene Miller, I, and Edna Mae Peters (nee Bolin) as well as his step-father, Lester Peters. He also mourned the loss of his sisters, Sharon Peters and Marsha Peters. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

As we reflect on Donald's life, we remember a man who touched many lives with his kindness, integrity, and love for family. His legacy will endure through the countless moments shared and the lives he influenced.
